February 2, 2015, Roanoke, VA – Blue Ridge Autism and Achievement Center’s Board of Directors is excited to announce and welcome Christina Giuliano as the organization’s new Executive Director. Giuliano will be responsible for the administration of the center’s three schools and program development for the organization.
She joins the Blue Ridge Autism and Achievement Center (BRAAC) team from the May Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder located in Clarksville, Tennessee. The May Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder serves families in their communities with in-home, community, center-based and school consulting services. It was there that Giuliano went from opening the Tennessee location to becoming the Regional Director and played a key role in opening additional locations in Georgia, Florida and Colorado. During her successful tenure at the May Center she was awarded the Trustees Award, which recognizes outstanding service and dedication to the company and families served.
Giuliano graduated with a Master’s of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Auburn University, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the State of Kentucky. She began her work as a Behavior Analyst for the May Institute’s Southeast Regional Autism Center in Columbus, Georgia after receiving a Fellowship from the May Institute.
